Ravening for flesh,
A curse, a scourge,
A malady, harbinger of death,
A ghost that haunts the billabong,
And stalks the waterways,
By night and gloom,
Under pale moon, it feasts...

Some say it gorges on the blood of children,
Who, by grim twist of fate, stray into it's path,
Is it a myth, a fable, a cautionary tale,
Or memories of predators past?
All that's known to be true, it's a spelling of doom,
If you hear it's howl split the dark...

Murky waters...

Ensnared in its grip,
Powerless to resist,
A creature possessing of terrible strength,
It tortures its prey, slowly dismembering,
Tearing with tooth and tusk,
Renders to pulp and guts,
Drunk on the fear,
And the ecstasy of the hunt,
The catch,
And devourment...
